The Staff

India

The new president Mr S. Ananda Vadivelou insures the operational and strategic management of Vellai Thamarai India. He is advised by Selvi Sarkar. The school principal and the manager run the establishment on a daily basis.

The working staff is Indian, coming primarily from surrounding villages. 40 full-time employees work at the school, of which 18 teachers (June 2021). 24-hour security is outsourced. Villagers are also recruited for daily or contract work according to construction and maintenance needs.

France

Catherine Doupeux is President of Vellai Thamarai France, supported by the Board members.

In addition, many members of the association devote time and talent to help, conceive or conduct different events and activities all along the year, in order to promote the Vellai Thamarai School and to contribute to its financing. They are all volunteers.
