Ecological conscience and practices improve gradually in villages. This is partly due to numerous students’ parents’ reunions during which daily practical activities are discussed; it is also the result of student’s greater awareness.
Children acquire hygiene practices at School that have an impact on parents; as an example, the development of septic tanks linked to toilets. Each year, children manifest in villages for a cause: reduction of the use of plastic at home and at work, or prevention against mosquitos carriers of malaria, dengue and chikungunya.
At School an external tab with purified drinking water is available for villagers. The water is distributed free of charge in villages during natural disasters: the Indian Ocean Coast is close and water can become brackish and inaccessible. The School supports its environment.
