Vellai Thamarai was amongst 20 organizations participating at the’ India in Paris’ Forum in February 2015. This event was the second edition of ‘Extravagant India’, the International Indian film festival in Paris.

Vellai Thamrai distributed Christmas cards for the 2014 Holliday seasons. These cards are painted by women living in villages around the School and represent Kolams, traditional South Indian patterns.

During 6 days in December 2014, 25 volunteers gift wrapped books at the 2 Tschann bookstores, (literature and youth bookshop) located in the 6th district of Paris.

On the proposal of the Paris City Hall, Vellai Thamarai participated in October 2014, in a 2 days fundraising campaign, at a large grocery store in the 14th district of Paris.
